We're Melodica, a duo playing songs you know and love! Think yacht rock, with plenty of 70s classics seasoned with some 80s and 90s. We cover a catalog that ranges from soft-rock classics like “Sara Smile,” to up tempo songs that you'll want to sing along with, like “Jenny 867-5309.” Check out our song list page in the menu above for more examples. We encourage our audiences to sing along.
We've played civic events, including farmers markets and association barbecues; brewpubs, both indoors and outdoors; busy mall food courts; and quiet wine bars. We are happy to be the focus, engaging the crowd – but are also fine with providing the sound track and letting people enjoy each other's company.
We share part of a driveway, and since we both have been in bands before, thought it would be fun to play a few songs. Those few songs turned into Melodica.
